🔅Summer can be a time of excitement and change for many girls. But for some, change can be less than exciting, especially if it's your body that's changing, and you have no idea what is going on! 

That's where we come in! 

The Confidence Campaign is a nonprofit organization that provides educational programs focusing on healthy hygiene habits and body positivity for girls aged 8-18 in Louisiana. We are based in Lafayette, La, and travel across the state to provide resources to girls,  including interactive workshops, lectures, hygiene product distribution, bra fittings, fitness activities, and interactive storytelling for younger children. 

The goal is to empower girls, promote confidence, and provide essential skills and resources for personal hygiene. Our main workshop, I.Y.K.Y.K. (IF You Know About Hygiene, You Will Always Know) Healthy Hygiene Habits and Body Positivity Workshop, provides essential knowledge and hands-on experience that will allow them to understand their changing bodies and how to care for themselves properly, as they transition into and through puberty. 

It is our goal to offer our program for FREE to ensure every girl has the opportunity to receive the foundational information that can help her to confidently navigate her day as she transitions into and through puberty. During the Summer is when we travel to libraries and various summer programs to deliever our workshops to many communities where resources are limited. 

Each girl that attends our workshop receives foundational knowledge of healthy hygiene and body changes of puberty, a bag of personal hygiene items (toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, soap, washcloth, deodorant, menstrual products, an emergency menstrual kit for their book sack), and a resource book (The Care and Keeping of You by American Girl Publishing) to bring home to answer questions they may and to also share with their families to encourage healthy conversations. 

Each bag has a value of $30.

With every $30 donation you make, you are sponsoring a girl to be more confident, more inspired, more open, and more willing to be a supportive peer mentor.

This Summer of 2024, The Confidence Campaign will be traveling across Louisiana to bring our programs to over 400 girls! You can see the calendar below! We are continuing to add dates, so please keep checking back.
